Terms of Use

1. Sign-up and eligibility

To use galera.club's interactive features, you must sign up with truthful information and keep your login details secure. The "Resident" profile is for individuals, while the "Business" profile is for local businesses to promote themselves in the platform's Market/Store.

2. Rules of conduct

We value active semantic moderation and peaceful coexistence in our digital neighborhood. It is expressly forbidden to:

• Post hate speech, discriminatory content, threats or harassment.
• Spam, run scams, sell illegal items or carry out fraudulent commercial activity.
• Post content out of geographic context in order to flood the city feed.
• Use bots or automated crawlers to scrape community data.

All posts are subject to our intelligent moderation layer (Gemini AI) before or while they're shown to others.

3. How galera.club pays for itself

Having a page and using galera.club is free. The platform is run by Gabriel Rodrigues, as an individual, and is paid for by support from companies and people and by affiliate links, under the terms below. We don't use algorithms built to hold your attention, and you control what shows up in your feed.

Support from companies

• The price is the same for every company and is published at galera.club/apoie: R$ 99 per month or R$ 990 per year.
• Support gives the company's page the Supporter badge and a place on the /apoie wall while the paid period lasts. The first 100 companies receive a founder number, which stays on the page even after the support ends.
• Nothing renews on its own. Each period is paid separately, by Pix, after being arranged by email.
• You can ask for the amount back within 7 days of payment, as Brazil's Consumer Protection Code provides for online purchases. In that case the badge is removed from the page.
• Until galera.club has a CNPJ, we issue a receipt. Invoices (nota fiscal) become available once there is a CNPJ.

Contributions from people

• The open-amount Pix on /apoie is voluntary. It doesn't unlock any feature, doesn't start a subscription and doesn't change anything in your account.
• The R$ 50 yearly support gives your page the Supports galera badge, and nothing else. Your name doesn't appear on any public list. Nothing renews on its own, and the same 7-day window to ask for your money back applies.

Affiliate links

• Pages marked NPC are made by galera.club and carry affiliate links. If someone buys through one of these links, the store may pay galera.club a commission.
• The price for the buyer is the same with or without the link, and nobody has to buy anything to use the platform.

4. Intellectual property and copyright

You keep the intellectual property of all the text and photos you post on galera.club. However, by posting on the platform, you grant galera.club a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute and reproduce that content solely within the scope of the social platform.

5. Changes and termination

We reserve the right to change these terms or suspend profiles that repeatedly break the local community rules described in this document. You can close your account and remove your personal data at any time through your Privacy panel.
